So i finally sucked it up, braved the robbers (i wish i was joking-i'm not. they're everywhere and they don't care if its broad daylight and there's 743892472 people around) and stepped literally right outside my door to snap a few pictures. The first few are of the inside of the house, the bathroom and my room; which i will admit is larger and more comfortable than i had anticipated. Plus it has that really awesome blanket hanging on the wall so... That uncovered area is kind of like a living room i guess. It's also where we go in case of an earthquake which i learned yesterday when i experienced my very first one. they're scary and i'd be okay if that never happened again. Anyways that man in the hammock is the father (so to speak, he's 80) of the house and he's pretty possessive over his hammock so i try to steer clear. Both those dogs belong to the family and they use the bathroom wherever they want. Consequently I've learned to watch my step. The next one, that yellow building, is the house. Both those front doors open up and they park their car essentially inside their living room, then we use the side door on the right to go in and out. The last three pictures were taken of/from the volunteer headquarters where I come to get internet everyday, it's a super nice place and i'm pretty thankful for that. The rest of these were taken standing right outside my door..I'm not sure what that girl on the sidewalk is doing but.. i like to think she just popped down for a quick nap in the sun.
